Augurey

Much more recent.
For my final project of this year, I decided to design and build the Augurey, a creature which can be found in JK Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them. Described as a greenish black, and looking like an underfed vulture.

This is a project of many materials. I ended up dyeing a lot of turkey feathers. The head is a fibreglass cast, I did the original sculpt in plastiline. The body + wings are carved from polyurethane foam, and I attached all the feathers by hand. May I never do a similar project again (unless I am being paid an awful lot for it.) 

I'll be getting a full body shot on a decent camera of this soon as my degree show is later this week!
